Reminds of me of a Wall Street Journal report a few years back. Korean
pilots (especially ex-Air Force) are notorious for not allowing anyone to
question them. They would literally rather die than admit a mistake. CRM is
just a buzzword to them. One such slapped his American copilot who pointed
out that they were below glide slope on an ILS. As they walked into the
pilots' lounge afterward, the American turned and decked the Korean in front
of all the other pilots, saying "Don't ever touch me again in the cockpit."
The American turned to the other pilots and said, "And the same goes for the
rest of you if I see you below glide slope." The American never had any
trouble with CRM after that. Don't know as he made a lot of points for
diplomacy, though. :-)

I wonder what he'd say if he walked into a Mexican border town cantina
when the local "talent" approached him. :-)

I know in the Army they beat us up about being below the glide slope.
There are things out there that just might reach up and smite thee.
