When I went to US Army Air Defense School in Fort Bliss in the 1960s (the
Marines couldn't afford such a school :), all 'disabled' missles (HAWK and
NIKE are what I remember) were painted black and white. After I got posted
to a unit, all 'abled' USMC HAWK missles were olive drab.
And I don't know what a bitumen is....
