The last time Maurice Kirk, the fun-loving adventurer, went off in his
plane to circle the globe, his wife protested that it was his time to
wash the dishes.

On this occasion, he has been targetted by the corrupt authorities of
South Wales.

He had bought a plane, with a non-functioning REPLICA of a Lewis Gun.
It had NO TRIGGER. It was HARMLESS.

He wanted the PLANE, not the ornament. So he sold it - as an ornament.

Months later, the police arrested him, and accused him of being in
possession of, and trying to sell, a WEAPON.

He was granted bail. However, this was not on the agenda of the ruling
gang. So the police appealed, and the offer of bail was withdrawn.

He was put into SOLITARY CONFINEMENT.

He was SEPARATED from his LEGAL DOCUMENTS.

He was denied PUBLIC APPEARANCES, such as at a hearing to apply for
bail under habeas corpus. Instead, the authorities insisted upon a
VIDEO LINK.

The problem with a video link is that it can be SWITCHED OFF. Further,
it can be CENSORED - preventing the public from viewing it. Thirdly,
it can recorded and EDITED, to make it seem that he is saying the
opposite of what he really was saying.

The authorities were determined to prevent the public from seeing what
a sane, well-balanced man he is.

The Scarth precedent shows that it is ILLEGAL for a country like
Britain to hold hearings in SECRET.

Because Maurice Kirk realised he had the RIGHT to appear in public, he
went on HUNGER STRIKE.

The authorities countered by sending him to a MENTAL WARD.
