View Full Version : Training with Snohomish Flying Service...

I am planning to get my commercial pilot certification but I am not
sure where to go to do it. I am interested in training with Snohomish
Flying Service but I am not sure how reputable their flight school
is. Could anyone offer me any advice about training at Harvey Field
or any experiences with Snohomish Flying Service? They charge about
$17,000 for their program which from what I have seen is about
average. Any input would be very helpful. Thanks!

Absolutely top hole good people. There is no one in the industry that I
respect more than Kandi, who owns/runs the place. You will be treated
fairly.

Full disclosure: I instructed there 1968-70.

Haven't used Snohomish flying service other than buying fuel there
occasionally, but Harvey field is a wonderful little GA airport, and
lots of non-congested airspace nearby for practice. For radio work,
Paine field is right near by with multiple instrument approaches and
Seattle center is very accomodating with approach practices.
