Our local CAP squadron who has a very nice L-23, often seems more
about rules, restrictions and talking than flying.
Canadian Air Cadets produce a LOT of quqlified young pilots and share
it with the public as well.

Karen,
Here in Illinois we have 4 gliders that are in almost constant use
during the summer. We also have a week-long wing-sponsored flight
encampment followed immediately by a week-long national-sponsored
flight encampment. If you feel your local squadron could make better
use of your glider, and are willing to help, drop a line to our Glider
Program Officer, Illinois Wing Civil Air Patrol, PO Box 397, West
Chicago, IL, 60186-0397. I'm sure he would be willing to help.
Col Maurice Givens, CAP
former commander Illinois Wing
