Amusingly bad, but annoying. And to think if he had not changed the
message titles I might have wanted to help him out with his problem.
The messages originated from a USENET news service individual.net in
Germany. They have already tracked this @$$hole down to one of their
subscribers operating a web2news gateway that was attacked. They have
sent out kill messages. Impressive service from individual.net.

Yes, apologies people. The messages came via the gliderpilot.net
r.a.s feed/service which has had to be temporarily suspended whilst I
sort out the account problems with individual.net. Sadly,
gliderpilot.net seems to be another one of those sites now targetted
by 419-esque scammers through the discussion groups and the adverts :(
If only Nigerian penal code 419 was effective! :)

I ussually respond to these saying that I have already received
billions of dollars for others just like them and that
my bank could not possibly hold another penny as its vault is
overflowing with my money already.
Some actually respond and say thanks anyway for considering helping
them.
Good for a laugh!
On another scam however, for "Dazzle Smile and Clean White" teeth
whitening products I was duped for
a 49.95 shipping and handling fee on the 1.99 "Free Trail"
They caught me by having references and logos to NBC, CNN, 60 Minutes
etc which made me believe they were legit and endorsed by them.
It never occured to me initially that they appeared on those news
networks because of their scams.....gotcha!
So beware.
