View Full Version : My two year-old is corrupted

So I am in the midst of building a master bedroom into my basement. Of
course the two year-old helps as much as he can. The other day I hear him
say, I got it Daddy. Turn to look to see him dragging an 8 foot 2x4 to me.
What a great kid.

Tonight I was working on minor things in the room while the kid is running
around having a good time. Then I hear, look Daddy I made an airplane. As I
turned around, sure nuff, only thing missing was the vertical stabilizer. He
had used 1x1.5 furring strips. Had a long one for the body. Second long one
for the main wing about an inch or two behind the end of the board. Finally
the horizontal stabilizer at the other end. He had used his little plastic
hammer to bang in some ring nails. I could not believe it.

Here he is not even an EAA member and has beaten me to the home built. Maybe
I should get him a membership.

The real question is, what kind of power is he planning on installing?
If it's auto, pedals, or rubber band don't let BOb know. Your son is
at such an impressionable age, he might never want to *drive* behind a
car motor after a trip to the barnyard...

Heh, heh.

Thank you for the characterization, Mark.
Better to be thought of in this 'kindly' light..
than not at all. Moocho grassy-arse. <g>

When Fred's youthful lad is fully grown....
expect piston type auto conversions to be
held in contempt as "dinosaurs", much like the
RAH loons view the venerable Lycoming today.

Time to build that RV while he can still fit in the tailcone
to buck rivets. :-)

Just send her over ... I'll let her play in the sand...paper. <:-))
Wearing corduroy though...I have a couple oil spots on the floor that
need cleaning. <:-))
