That´s pretty expensive for shipping a photo, isn´t it? And how can I add
$25 to an e-mail?

SCNR ;-)

Just for you Michael, I also have 2 Ball varios, an A-8 regulator and
an extremely rare Crossfell vario. Get 'em all and start museum!

Crossfell can't be that rare. I've got 2 of them. One supposedly works
well. The other one has been floating in the trunk of my car for a
few years.

Why does your car need a vario? I would think it's high minimum sink
rate would make it a bear to thermal effectively.

.... and what is it floating in? The trunk of an old Toyota I had
would take on a bit of water in a heavy rain, but not enough for
anything bigger than a peanut to float in. Maybe you ought to drill
some drainage holes. Or, you might just relocate the vario to the
dash board. It's got to be difficult to read, floating around in the
trunk.

Good idea, i suppose I should get that old vario out, try to get it
working again. It has a diaphragm total energy compensator and runs
on 3 D Cells. It would look good in the dash of my Olds Alero.

You could drill some drain holes and the tape them over when you are
in that thermal, so as to not have the pressure difference cause drag!
