do you know what that ufo actually is?

cant think of his name. he ran a shop half way up Mt Palomar.
he wrote a book on ufo's that is quite wonderful reading as is all
good fiction.
On the counter of his shop (in the days before refrigerator cabinets)
drink bottles stood in a round carrier that blew cold air down over
them to make the saleable.
the "ufo" in the photo is actually the decorative spun metal top of
the drinks carrier on his counter. if you lifted it off the centre air
duct and threw it frisbee style it made for some interesting ufo
photos. all faked photos of course

It looks a bit like one from George Adamski's book.

Google George Adamski - you'll find the same image.
