So let me get this straight.
You want the guy who pulled a trigger and killed innocent people freed
because you have some totally unprovable Rube Goldberg theory that
someone else gave him the gun.
Never mind that he was the one who actually used it to murder people,
so it doesn't matter who gave it or sold it to him, he still shot
people. Even if you did want to go after whoever sold him the gun you
wouldn
't let him out of jail.
If you want to go for who sold him gas making equipment or chemicals
there are a lot of people you could point fingers at, and the Israelis
are probably one of the least likely countries on the list.
European countries, the Russians, even possibly the US would come
before Israel.
Heck if you are mad at Saddam for wanting nasty weapons you should
thank the Israelis for both bombing his Nuclear Reactor in 1982 or so
and for their probable role in shooting Gerald Bull who was talking
about building a supercannon for Hussein.
I think if you're into any chemicals they aren't of the Chemical Ali
variety.

You're probably correct on the latter point, David. If he's into
chemicals, and such chemicals doubtless enable his delusions, they
aren't Chemical Ali's specialty (Sarin and Mustard). I'm surprised
they allow internet access in his padded cell-unless he's escaped, or
they haven't tracked this lunatic down yet. I do remember when he
first showed up: he was wailing about a lot of this stuff because two
late-night radio show hosts hung up on him in the middle of his rant.
Seeing what this nut says and believes, I don't blame them at all.

I think that he was aptly named. His big thing was extra long-range
artillery (several hundred miles range).
IMHO, his big guns were impossible and that he was scamming Saddam & Co.
I doubt that Mossad did him in -- it was probably Saddam's people who
figured out the scam.

Whoever liquidated Dr. Bull, it sure wasn't robbery: IIRC the Brussels
cops found $30K in U.S. currency on the body. And it was a double-tap
to the head, so it was a professional hit, the book on Bull's projects
said.
