The newly released Google Buzz allowing you to do unlimited length
tweet-like messages also showing where you sent it from on their maps
if you have a GPS enabled 3G type phone. I haven't tried this aloft
but it looks like this could be useful for at least transmitting where
you landed out.

I now hand off to those who have more time to experiment with
this........

I loaded it - it's a Web app, so you need pretty good connectivity to
get it to load and work vi the iPhone browser. A better solution
would be a local app that sends your GPS location via SMS. GPS Text
does this as do other apps.
