Not to diminish Fritz Seger's fantastic flight but, I would have
thought this record would have been surpassed on some of the ridges in
the east by now. Is going for this record unappealing to a lot of
pilots?

Look at Ken Arterburn's flight in an ASW-15 distance to a goal 532
mi. Submitted as 15 m record inTexas.
