I'm looking for a good condition, but pre-owned parachute on behalf of
my glider club. Since it will be used by multiple club members, it
needs to be a large canopy size (rated to 240+ pounds). Due to the
muddiness of repacking requirements at over 20 years, I'm looking for
something manufactured less than 10 years ago.

A new chute would be great, but it's out of the budget for our club at
this time. If you have a chute that's not too old and you're not
using it for the foreseeable future, sell it to us! Due to the
uncertainty of repacking limits, your parachute is likely depreciating
while being stored safely in a cool, dry location.

I've searched Barnstormers, eBay, and the used sections on W&W and
Cumulus for a while and haven't found a good match, so I thought I
would try here.

If you might be interested in selling, please email me at
, but use my actual first and last names instead
(andy.maag).

Thanks,

Have you tried talking to Alan Silver? He sometimes takes in trades
for new chutes, and you can get a pretty reasonable deal from him.
