Contest maps for GlidePlan customers are now available for the first
nine SSA sanctioned contests of the the season. These include Seniors
Championship, Region 5 North (now past), Region 9 South, 36th Central
Cal Soaring Club Camp, Region 2, Region 10 North, Region 6 North,
World Class Nationals, and 1-26 Championships. These new (and
current!) maps can be downloaded at http://www.glideplan.com/download/contest.html.
If you have never tried the map markup program GlidePlan, you can
download a free demo at www.glideplan.com. There you will find a
short video on making custom contest maps in under 5 minutes. The
program is available for purchase on the website, or through Cumulus
Soaring.
This is the program used to create the great laminated contest maps
sold by 9B (see thread below)
