Guys I am building a very large flying scale model of the MArtin PBM Mariner.
Could some of you look through your shoe box full of airplane pictures and see
if you might have some shots of this old bird that I might find suitable for
finishing my model like.

Sparky,

Have you gone to Google, clicked on images and entered "Martin PBM Mariner"?
It returns about 90 images, some of which may be useful? One other place to
make a query is rec.models.scale. A request to
alt.binaries.aviation.pictures will probably bring out photos also.

Sparky,
I'll scan a photo and color drawing out of my copy of "The Official
Monogram US Navy and Marine Corp color guide 1950-59" They might be
useful and the photo is a cool one of a VP-46 shooting a couple of
Zuni's (timely huh?)

I'll e-mail them to you.
