Thanks for the feedback.

I think it is the Scaled Composites Long EZ. I have a shot of it in the next
batch. The aircraft is tiny.

According to the U.S. Air Force Museum website, it is a Rutan Long EZ,
though it appears highly modified compared to other pix I found of the
type elsewhere on the 'Net. See link, first row, second pic:

Frogdog and Giganews:

Thanks for the info/link. Too weird! Didn't realize
that Rutan's path had crossed the PDE. That also
'splains the queer design. Initially thought it looked
like a LongEZ, but the propulsion system threw me.
