Ipad review - Weather briefing Part 1 - Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_fvORQSLGs

This is the first of a series of videos I am compiling. As you
probably can see I am trying to capture every aspect of flying from
preflight to shut down and flight planning is one process I have yet
to cover.

I got a new Ipad and figured why not combine a review of the Ipad and
it's practicality for a pilot. This 7 minute video of course
represents "one pilots" way of doing things and ultimately I hope this
helps a fellow pilot in their decision making process to whether it's
worth their time investing in an Ipad..

I will post subsequent videos created on this topic under this
thread. If there is a website you want to see how it will be
displayed on an Ipad, post here and I would be happy to do so.

Comments here or on the video most appreciated especially if one get
help me improve on my process. Oh, forgive me on the unshaven look in
the beginning and the "uhhs"as this is completely unscripted,

Ipad review - Flight Planning Part 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXThvhuhyx8

Second and last video. It went a little longer then I hoped (9
minutes) but I think it did well to cover aviationweather.com duat.com
flightaware.com fltplan.com and airnav.com websites and what is
displayed on the Ipad.

Sorry for the oh duh moments, as you will see in the video, nothing
was scripted other then setting up the tabs that required input.

Foreflight app review on the Ipad - Video

No relation to company or programmer, just one pilots view of the
program. A viewer of my previous Ipad video had put a comment asking
me to put screen shots of this program and I obliged.

I will say the program sets the bar on flight planning preparation and
must have been a pilot for the ease of use both in flight planning and
the potential for in plane use of the Ipad.

10 minute video covers what I perceive are the wow factors of the
program. Hope somebody finds this video useful in evaluating the
program and or Ipad for their flight purposes.
