The SSA member achievements pages show the current US pilot ranking
and the best pilot ranking.
In my case my best ranking is based on a 2004 Regional in which I
placed 6th. Since I placed 2nd in a 2003 Regional I would have
expected the ranking from that year to be higher.
Can anyone explain this?

Andy,
You are correct but your ranking is not based on position, only
percentage of the winning score.
You should have a high of 89.54 based on the 2003 contest.
Sounds like an error on the webpage. I think I had the same problem
earlier this year and then at some point it this year it got corrected.

It turned out that Doug Easton was the person to take care of this.
It was fixed within a few minutes of him hearing about it.
Thanks Doug,
Andy
