Cool, Glenn,

Brings memories of the "Blue and Red" war games in Germany,
1953 or 1954? We were "attacked" by RAF Vampires and Meteors
at Landstuhl Air Base. I remember seeing my photo, taken by a
Meteor, brushing the tree tops. The "kill" photos were shown at an
all ranks "Dining-In" at the Landstuhl Officer's Club.
Anyone remember that..... clearly?

ps we had the pleasure of two Hawker Hunters practicing over our house for
the Waddington Air show only managed one crap pic

That would be right. The first time in 2 years i don't go to waddington, and
tehy have Hunters :-(

and i got to see one at the Festival of speed at goodwood i think it was a 2
seat variant, plus the red arrows too , are they flying a formation with one
missing to honor the loss of one ?
