Damn! I would like to see this one in person, because it is one huge mother
of an airplane! Either that, or there is a 10 year old in the cockpit in
that picture! <g>

I wonder how it compares size wise to a TBM Avenger, or a Jug?

Perhaps an effect due to the radial engine ? The wingspan of a Yak-11
is (only) 9.4 m , while the Thunderbolt is 12.4 m wide, and the TBM
16.51 m !
