The aircraft flew in yesterday but the weather was really lousy. I fired off
a bunch of shots as the aircraft came in to land but I think the ones I got
last year were much better. Still, here you go. This is from yesterday.

I wish there was a way to get both of them together, and not photoshopped
together.

You can bet that once the East Kirkby Lancaster returns to the skies,
the pressure to bring the CWH one over and have three flying together
will be irresistible. ;)

Irrestible enough to make BBMF fly together with "civilians", usually
grounded when they fly ?
(Always my regrets...)

The BBMF Lancaster will display alongside civilian owned and operated
aircraft as long as both crews attend a common briefing. The
civilian-owned Vulcan and the Lanc have displayed together.

What they wont do is operate while other unbriefed aircraft are in the
circuit.

Yes, the East Kirkby Lanc is going to fly again...
