Does anyone have details?

Was wondering if it would be possible to modify some of ours - there are
a number of relatively low time L13s in this part of the world.

Bruce, if you're talking specifically about the L-13A1 "Llewellen
Modification", see this post and its quoted text:

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.aviation.soaring/msg/aecf93bb3d7883d7?hl=en

That's from this thread:

Thanks, Bob K.

Thanks Bob

That was what I was looking for.
Will check to see if they still exist etc.

Good luck! I searched the Internet for more and better info, and
basically came up dry.

My suggestion would be to start with the Australian supplemental type
certificate number and see if the Australian airworthiness authorities
have drawings for the modifications and information about who the STC
can be licensed from.

Thanks, Bob K.

Bruce,
I suggest that you follow this address:

http://2009.gfa.org.au/index.php?option=com_contact&task=view&contact_id=53&Itemid=222

This will allow you to send an email to Mike Burns who has been
involved with Blanik structural problems from the beginning. His firm
is Aviation and General Engineering.

I'm not sure who holds the STC but Mike Burns will know - and I
suspect it's his firm.

Bob K, with his interest in metal gliders, will probably be interested
in Mike's work in engineering a jet conversion for the Caproni Calif -
the A21SJA.
