Would you believe KEVIN GOULD, PRESIDENT OF PIPER?

Would you? If he tells you all Piper does is import the Czech
sport cruiser, put the name piper on it, and sell it? Watch
this video...and admit you're wrong.

Unless you know more about it than Kevin Gould.

I believe what Piper has published, i.e. that there are modifications to
SportCruiser that make it a PiperSport.

Any modification is enough to make it a similar, but different, airplane and
especially when you are talking about LSA's.

There are changes to the nosegear and modified pitch controls among other
things.

Yes it's called a decal.

The changes you refer to are called ...the 2011 model
sportcruiser with a Piper decal.

Piper doesn't make LSA's.

I'll bet a hundred dollars you voted for Sarah Palin, because
you're the type of individual that obviously can't distinguish
what "lipstick on a pig" is.

You're the type of person that I would hire to work in my
company. Any company would be glad to have someone
like you on the payroll. In fact, you're exactly what the
government is looking for to work in their bureaucratic
megaplex. That is... someone who doesn't contemplate
the big picture, but follows the rules to an anal retentive
tee, irrespective of logic or alternatives. The perfect cog.
Yes, in the scheme of things, part of the problem, but on
a micro level apprecitated for your rigid adherence. You
are probably friendly in real life, and well liked by many
myopic people.

And different nose gear, different pitch controls, added BRS, different
name on the airworthiness certificate.

Reference?

So airplanes are not automobiles or trucks.

There is nothing in the auto world like airworthiness certificates or type
certificates.

Nope, nose gear, pitch controls, BRS, avionics set, interior, airworthiness
certificate.

Also the paint job, though the paint job is about the only thing on a LSA
you can change without it being a different airplane.
