Turned out to be a good day, despite the clouds. If it wasn't for the
ABX & DHL Diversions (which are still there), I would have missed a
few GREAT biz jets. Highlights were an Italian AF F900 (MM62245), A
BEAUTIFUL German G550 (D-AJJK), a nice Lear (N986SA), another G550
that I would swear belonged to the Detroit Lions (N800DL) - It's got a
lion on the tail, DL designation - but it appears not. Anyhow, I was
waiting for this to depart, and it crossed me up by departing on 35 at
midfield. Never seen a Gulfstream do that before.
Plus, ATC has a new phrase. Instead of "Position & Hold" it's Now
"Line Up & Wait" . That sounds so cheap.
