If cost were not an issue, would you install a cockpit voice recorder and/or
flight data recorder in your small airplane? Why or why not? What about a
cockpit video recorder?

No, as the added weight gives me no benefit.
The GPS already records flight path data and the engine analyzer records
a bunch of engine parameters.
ATC already records all converstations.
A video recorder might be nice if it recorded the view.

You should get your PTT switch checked or replaced :)
