The title says Durham, and that is in NC. If you check the webpage you'll
get the N number and can verify that it is indeed in NC, plus you'll see
some pic's of it.

Oh, OK, it is also a city in New Hampshire and the UK, I never heard of NC.
What's that mean, Northern Canada? There is a university, Durham University
there.

Hi. Sorry I was not more informative. The airplane is located in the
Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area in the United States. I posted this ad
for the owner and did not put his email address in the ad either. If you
would like to contact the owner of this airplane by email, remove the $ from
the address.
If you would like to contact Jim by phone, I forgot to put the area code in
the ad as well. (919) 667-0611

15 years ago. Will need to be recovered in a few years. All compressions in

Airplane is flyable and is flown regularly. Needs some cosmetic fabric work
(flap & gear legs).

Narco AT-150 Transponder. Icom A-22 NAV/COM transceiver wired into 4-place

As far as I know. The owner is my fiance and I am posting for him. If you
question this, you are more than welcome to email him or call him on it.

No, Zoomlet, because compressions change from time to time. High sixties
ain't all that great anyway. Not great, but passable. Seventies are
better, but an old Lycoming usually goes on and on. Now if it did sixties
this time and fifties next time, I'd worry.
If you are doing a pre-buy, bring your own differential compression tester.
The aircraft sounds like a decent buy, but I'd convert it to a taildragger.
Otherwise it will always be a flying milkstool.

Depends whether Lori is making him get rid of airplanes, or whether they are moving up
to a better one once they are married.

HA! I hear from so many guys that fly that once they get married, the wife
wants them to get rid of the plane. I am the total opposite. I love to
fly, local barbeque/fish fry fly-ins and everything. I love the weekend
trips to the beach and the mountains of North Carolina, and I will miss the
Tripacer, but we need something faster, like an RV-6 or a Glasair. I love
to fly and I love my pilot :-) We have been engaged since this past July
and are getting married in 5 weeks in Hawaii.
So James, sorry man, but I gotta turn ya down.

Lori, do you realize that by opening a camp to train wives to think like you
do, you could become rich beyond your wildest dreams? Think about it. I'm
serious.

She has a pilot, that actually flies his plane...
Quite different than having one, that sits in the cockpit and makes
airplane/jet noises...

Hey guys, how about this. I went to Lakeland Florida this year for
Sun-N-Fun, in the Tripacer, and spent 5 days there in a tent. Granted, it
was not the most luxurious vacation I have ever had, but it was alot of fun
for me and I would go back, maybe not for 5 days, but I would go back.

Margy was afraid of flying (any kind, airliners or little planes) when I met her.
I demonstrated the safety of flight by taking her out for a flight and punching
a hole in the wing with a turkey buzzard. We flew out a few months later to
Oshkosh. Margy insisted on camping (I'm not a camper, I stayed in the dorms
the previous year), but Margy had done her research and decided that was the
way to go.
After a week of hanging out at Oshkosh she made me teach her navigation on
a picnic table next to the hanger cafe so she would know what was going on
on the return trip. She signed up for flight lessons the next week.
The next summer she flew out to Oshkosh with the ink still wet on her certificate.
The next summer she flew out to Oshkosh in her own plane.

My dad and I flew over Sun-N-Fun this year, in an aluminized '53 Tri-Pacer
he'd just bought in Wachula, on our way back home to Louisiana...
Such a small world we live in... Shot some video of a smoking, looping
aerobatic, as we passed over the fly-in...
We drove straight down in a rental car (800+ miles) and then flew back
that afternoon, after they finished detailing it... No tent, grabbed a few
winks on the sofa in the FBO...
Fogged closed in at Destin after we took off, clear enough to land for
fuel in Hammond, fogged out at our home airport and ended up leaving
it 25 miles from home at another airport at 1am, some 33 hours later...
Finished flying it home the next afternoon, after grabbing many winks...
Dads supposed to write about it in Short Wing, just got the latest issue
and didn't see it... Might not have turned it in yet...
The plane was just too small for me and my instructor, so he sold it in
October... I'm now signed off on a C177 Cardinal and a C150
Commuter, solo'd at 8 hours last month, will try to complete
everything before the new year, for my PPL... Will do more
hood work, and and finish up on my Short Field Landings,
tomorrow...
Maybe one day, my wife will fly with me... <g>

Tell ya what, I've taken pityt on *you*, Juan -- One piece of

you

Don't forget, we're *still* waiting for the proof that YOU'LL never
show -- the
proof that you are *not* a liar and a fraud, yourself, Jimmy, baby.
You have repeatedly claimed that Chuck either:
A) Wasn't at SNF at all
B) Was there, but didn't have any vehicle there
C) Was there with a vehicle, but didn't own it.
You made the claim; the onus is on _you_ to provide proof.
If you don't have proof, you're a fraud.
If you're wrong, you're a liar.
Your ONGOING REFUSAL to address this issue goes to _your_ credibility.
At this point, you *don't* have ANY credibility on this issue, and as a
result of -that-, your credibility on _anything_else_ is also called into
question.
And the available evidence says that you're a LIAR AND A FRAUD.
Now, *prove*me*wrong*. If you _CAN_.
Show your proof.
If you can't/won't, you *are* _what_you_claim_ Chuck is.

Like I said, it's all about the credibility the Duckboy doesn't have. :)
Besides, I only go into RAH when I'm in the mood to yank chains and what

I gave jaun enough rope to make a fool of himself .So just for the record
you
can go to the following sites and see copies of my registrations for my 97
,00
and 03 Dodge Ram trucks, all with my name listed as the owner. Everyone
knows
that you can't get plates and registrations without titles.
I did this just to show that I have nothing to hide and jaun has no
credibility.

Just out of curiosity, how does you accusing Chuck of a lot of things,
getting shot down hopelessly and thoroughly (with documented proof no
less) DEcrease Chuck's credibility, and/or INcrease yours?
Quite the opposite, from my vantage point.
But whatever - if enjoy shooting yourself in the foot in public, this
is as good a forum as any.

Simple. Duckboy never provided proof that he took a vehicle that was his
property, free and clear, to SNF. He only provided a piece of paper that
says he owned vehicles, which has nothing to do with the original issue. And
he won't provide the proof, because he didn't, thanks to a judgement against
him in a _Florida_ court. He thinks that by squirming around for months
he'll dilute the issue and make it look like he didn't lie. Unfortunately
for him, it didn't work. Sorry, your "vantage point" is anything but that.

Just to fill in, for those that don't kneaux Juan Jimenez & his BD-5J:
From: Juan Jimenez )
Subject: FS: Last Chance, BD-5J Microjet at $65k, goes up to $100k soon
Newsgroups: rec.aviation.marketplace, rec.aviation.homebuilt
Date: 2003-06-24 21:31:39 PST
My BD-5J Microjet will be completed this weekend, and I will then begin
working on CG and W&B calcs, replacing N-numbers with 12 inch stickers
because it's too fast for smaller ones, and the IA will run through and do
the signoff that the DAR wants before he looks at it. The IA's been
working
with me for months on this and is ready to do the inspection and sign it
off. Once the inspection is done we start doing the taxi tests, working
out
any glitches and getting the plane ready for first flight.
This is the lightest BD-5J _ever_ built, 358 lbs empty weight. The next
lightest one is 430. The wings hold 16 gals of fuel without having to
extend
the tanks to the tips because it has the Riblett reprofile airfoil already
built into the custom wings. It is the only BD-5 with i-beam spars instead
of the round ones that flex and cause oil canning if you don't install a
heavy supplemental spar. It's got Matco disc brakes, Alturair solid metal
landing gear, nosewheel steering, and is built for a 6'1"+ pilot. The
engine
is a simple Microturbo 022 Cougar, air-start, no heavy starter-generator
or
fuel pumps, computers and pipes. It weighs 67 lbs soaking wet and puts out
180 lbs thrust at 100% N1 with an 1.25 SFC. The engine has 10 hours TT and
is in perfect condition.
This is the last chance to buy the project at $65,000. I am moving to
Puerto
Rico in August and don't want to take it with me. After it gets its
airworthiness certificate, price goes up to $100,000. If it doesn't sell
I'll take it with me -- I won't give it away.
Tirekickers and wannabe's are not welcome -- I've already had my fill of
those. If you don't have the cash and the need for speed, don't waste my
time. I will trade down + cash for a good LongEZ, Velocity, Cozy III or
IV,
Bellanca Super Viking 17-31ATC or ?? with at least two seats, honest 160
mph
or better cruise, and 1000 NM zero-wind range.

Which puts Juan still in Texas, unlike his previously claim of of moving
further south. To Juan's credit is the fact, that he didn't mention what
year in August, he'd be moving. Also the pictures on the website don't
reference an N number, appears the price hasn't gone up, neither is it
airworthy, and nor will he likely ever fly it...
