View Full Version : Any alternative to Europa XS?

I am looking for a design with: 100-120hp engine, 600lbs plus useful
load AND the baggage room for the load capacity, 130miles plus
cruising speed. The useful load should be the real one already in use,
not on paper.
Seems Europa XS meets these requirement and can be much faster, though
the useful load could be less based on most completed ones' empty
weight(about 100lbs heaiver than the company's data). Murphy Rebel
seems another option with even more useful load but it's way too slow.
Does anyone have any other such designs in mind? Thank you.

A cleaned up 150hp. rebel will easily cruise that fast and has over
700 lb. useful load. The Murphy elite is even faster.
Drew Dalgleish
Murphy Rebel C-FYHO
125hp. 110mph cruise on wheels without the fancy wing tips or wheel
pants or the spring gear etc...

This seams to meet your specs. I have no experience with it though:

The Bearhawk Patrol (Bob Barrows' new 2 seat design). You may need a
bigger engine to get the speed, but I don't know.
