What sounds like a nice afternoon on the beach in Rio
is actually one of the toughest athletic competitions
in the world. Over 80 teams from 30 nations will
plunge into the fray on 5 December, when Red Bull
Giants of Rio takes place for the first time.
Olympic gold medalists Julien Absalon (mountain
biking) and Ryk Neethling (swimming) and some of the
best hang gliders in the world are among the
competitors.
The event will be broadcast live from Rio de Janeiro
on 5 December!
