1946! Hey, that might be the same one I dead-sticked in on my third solo
flight back in 1946. I got my PPL in one later the same year.

If you kept your old log book the N number should
be there.

Man, my original logbook has been lost for decades. Even before I
stopped flying. I do still have my old paper temporary PPL, though, that
was issued to use until my permanent paper certificate arrived from the
"CAA". I was just kidding about that being the same plane. Those planes
had "NC" numbers at that time.
