Not good news.
One had an engine failure on take off. See this:

This is a tossup.
The A380 isn't the problem here; the issue at hand is the
engine used on the A380. In this case, it's the Trent 900, made by
Rolls Royce. If you notice, everyone else except Emirates and Air
France have either grounded or 'delayed' their A380 use until they hear
back from RR on what happened. UAE and AFR use the GE/PW engines
instead.
Where this is a tossup, is for who owns responsibility for
this. There was an Airworthiness directive issued earlier this year on
the Trent 900 engine; so should QFA and others be at fault for this for
not adhering to the AD, or RR take the blame for what caused the UEF?
