Under new management, Ionia Region-6 North will be Sat 5/28 - Sat 6/4,
practice Friday 5/27. It should show up on SSA website in a day or so.
Two classes, Sports & FAI 15/18, both handicapped.
$100 + tows. No tie down fees. We will offer refunds for cancellations
more freely than rules allow.
Few frills, okay none. We'll just go out to dinner together each
night.
Rule 11.4.4 in effect, worst day score adjustment (you can skip a
day).
Short instructional classes on Starts, Finishes, Tasks, Thermalling.

we can plan everything.

Glad to see someone experimenting with "drop a day". I'll be curious
to see if it creates a "go for broke" attitude on the last day for
pilots who have had a consistent performance up until then.

Also, I'm trying to remember how the rule works versus the minimum
number of days required for an official contest. Do you have to have
one additional day in the bag to allow for the drops?

No. It only starts kicking in once you have an official contest. I'm
also very curious to see how it comes out, and gratified to see two
contests already trying a mixed FAI class.
