Sarah Kelly-Arnold and Rachel Flem had an amazing flight in a lowly
2-33A on Thursday. It appears they may have set 12 new TN records and
3 national records with this flight.
I think Sarah deserves more of a medal for sitting in the back seat of
the 2-33 for the four hours plus.. Anyway, congratulations to Sarah
and Rachel! Goes to prove that it does
not take high dollar equipment to to have fun and set local records.
Sports Class is alive and well!

Maybe next year someone can get a 2-22 down there to run the ridge.
Handicap is 2!

One of the coolest flights to have happened in a while, maybe Sarah
and Rachel could write an article for Soaring Magazine.

It was an amazing day in the Sequatchie valley. Many gold distance
flights, and a couple of diamonds were flown. It was really cool to
see the old red 2-33 cruising down the ridge though.

Well, Tony. I have heard the phrases "2-22" and "run!" used close to
each other before... ;-)

Here's a little bit of video I shot that day on the Sequatchie ridge
with one of those keychain cams. I taped the camera to the turtledeck
behind the cnaopy on my Ka-6
