My plot to buy a 15-meter ship in time for this year's Nationals at
Logan, UT has been foiled.

I know its a stretch, but does anyone know of anybody who'd be willing
to rent a 15-meter ship in the UT/ID/OR/WA area? I've got a couple of
years of contest experience now, and did well at last year's Logan
event.

Thanks,

P.S. Before someone suggests it: Yes, if I can't find a rental I'll
fly my DG-300 in the regional there. But no, I'm not taking my
unballasted '300 up against flapped ships full of water in a National
contest! I enjoy a challenge, not a slaughter. ;-)

Have you checked with Williams Soaring in CA? They've got a nice
fleet including an ASW-27 for a rental. Not sure about renting for a
long period and dragging it across Nevada, but worth calling Rex to
see.
