Thanks! The same baudrate is used on the computers and LX20.
I would send my LX20 to you Paul: it needs calibration anyways ;) The problem is that it is my GPS souce for feeding my LX4000, so I have to find an alternative GPS source while the unit is in the "mail" :)
I am trying the LXe software and when downloading the logbook, it says "searching for flights" and gets stuck there. If I click "cancel" on that dialog, it says that the memory is empty. The LX20 won't disconnect nor react to any button press. I have to disconnect the battery from it to get it working again.
My guess is like Paul said: the battery died during the long winter months. I'd like to try a memory reset. I searched on how to do that, but couldn't find. Anyone knows how?
Thanks again,

gabriel

Gabriel,

You can clear the flight log memory by entering the password 9999.
That might fix the problem if one of the files has been corrupted.

After you clear the log go for a flight and see if it works. If it
doesn't, then send it off.
