Parachute Repack Calculator

I was looking for a good way to determine when my chute would need a repack and came across this. Always thought that it would be good if the rigger provided the date when the re-rig would be required but I don't see it on my card.

It's a six month cycle now. Using a calculator seems more complicated
than marking it on a calendar to me.

My rigger (Action Air, Davis,CA) tapes the date right on the ripcord
handle

So does Allen Silver who packs an awful log of glider parachutes, and
so do many others. I'd agree with the find another rigger comment.

As the link explains, it;s a 180 day cycle not a 6 month cycle, hence
the calculator that gives the date 180 days before or after any
particular day of the year.
