Latency

Has anyone else noticed that it takes several days for posts to show
up in the group? As I write this on 5 August, the latest posts are
dated 1 August. This is a relatively new phenomenon as previously
posts were showing up very soon after being written.

I replied to him by email.

Looks like we are facing an eternal August of this stuff thanks to naive
users and what I expect is a combination of Google's incompetence and
just not caring about USENET with Google Groups.
