The outer ballast tanks use a fitting what I don't have. Is there an
off the shelf workaround?

For the outers, yes. I don't have mine in front of me, but it's just a rigid plastic fitting of thick walled pipe. It has a slight taper iirc, but it is a friction fit. A length of PVC with the right od would work.

probably not, it's a tapered tube - the taper end is rammed into the hole
in the wing and suitable supply of water applied to the other end.
Find someone who has one and turn down a suitable thick walled tube to
match the taper.

Schedule 80 PVC pipe or electrical conduit of an appropriate diameter would
likely be a good material to make that from. It may not be a retail item, but
is redily available at a wholesale plumbing or electrical supply.
Alternatively, you might get lucky enough that the bell end cut from a length of
ordinary PVC pipe would serve.

If you are around Minden I can probably make you one if I have either
the plane or fitting to look at. . . Or a diagram.
