It depends on what you mean by "outdated". I was flying in Lockheed Hercules
aircraft 43 years ago...yet they still seem to be around.

I was a loadmaster on a C-130 for 9 years... I flew on the H models. The
pictures of the Hercs in the Libyan AF look to be the older E models. With
the launch of the C-130 J, they all look outdated.

I can't remember which mark they were, my log book just shows Hecules C130.
I was, in fact, freight (paratrooper) rather than crew. At least we very
rarely got to worry about landing in the thing.

I doubt the Libyan aircraft have had anything like the care and
feeding the B-52 fleet has enjoyed.
