How did you create an HDR from the image of the aircraft in flight? Clearly
you could not have taken bracketed exposures.

LOL! YES, I COULD and did!
Step one: Make sure you have a very sunny day.
Step two: use an ISO of 400 or more.
Step three: use a shutter speed of 4000 or more.
Step four: use a +1 / -1 bracketed automatic exposure.
Step five: Set camera to sequential shooting.
Step six: CLICK!
Step seven: composite together in Photomatix.....or similar software.
Now you must die for you know the secret. <Just kidding>
YEAH! It can be done! Someone told me that it couldn't be done....which of
course led me to want to find a way to do it. The results are not the
greatest. Be prepared for A LOT of trial and error. Out of several flights
that landed and I tried to bracket shoot....only this one sequence and only
three shots in the sequence worked. Now that I kind of know what I'm
doing.... I intend to give it another try.
