Chilhowee TN Octoberfest Glider Festival Oct 14-16th

I have firm plans on attending the Chilhowee Octoberfest on Oct
14th-16th. I know of one other friend who will be there (XF). Does
anyone else on this forum have plans to attend? Just trying to get a
feel of what the potential turnout will be.

Also, from those who have attended this in this past, is there
typically a task called? Is it scored?

Scott ... I plan to be there if wx looks reasonable for that weekend.

Great time to get together. Typical turnout with bad weather is
20-25, good weather may see 75. Task not called but if the weather
is good often groups will get together and fly some kind of fun task.

Always a great event and a lot of fun.
