Do try thinking clearly for a change. A senator has access to more
information than his wife. In case you hadn't noticed congressmen are
elected, not their spouses.

Nothing sexist intended. The Senator has power and can influence
national policy: Ms. McCain does not. So if you want this incident
reeinvestigated or redressed, his opinion is the more important one.
