I'm looking for a used 80 mm (3 1/8") Winter or Sage mechanical
variometer in good condition. Preferred location in the US and scale
in knots. $3-400 price range.

Thanks for the tip but I did see that small Winter and also checked
with Tim to see if he had an 80mm. I'm trying to fill the space I have
and would prefer not to use a reducer and building a new panel isn't
an option right now for the Cirrus.
