Now that the head of the FAA Randy Babitt has resigned, a petition has
been created to nominate Sully Sullenberger as a replacement.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a glider pilot in office?

Good pilots do not necessarily make good Directors of Civil Aviation. We
have proof...

So the question is - how good a politician and administrator and leader
is the good Captain? How strong are his biases, and convictions?
