because he's terrified of posting like the rest of us.) PP = me,
pacplyer

PP: What may be hard for you to grasp here "a", is that there are
many BWB type-A personalities in every profession (not just nuclear
physics.)

But the airline that hired me, valued this diversity. They didn't
hire strictly military robots. Instead, they hired a mix. Two-thirds
civilian for about there years there. This was a smart move at a
joint that constantly traverses multiple time zones and had trouble
keeping crewmembers awake. You need interesting jokers around to keep
everybody from being bored to death. Just like with BWB. In my
mind, he is a fascinating, interesting, part of the RAH topography
here. He's a larger-than-life character, in the best tradition of
cheap fiction.

You just wouldn't believe some of the jokers in my new hire class.
One those guys, let's call him Don Jones, 25, who I found out was
fired from xxx airlines for the same behavior a few months before, got
drunk and was screaming his lungs out at the receptionist in his night
cloths about what a ****ty hotel this was and how he was never going
to get any sleep for ground school in the morning. I tried to walk
him back to the elevator but he wouldn't go. The night before, we had
all gone out the "Nude, Nude, Nude" bar where we proceeded each day to
see who could stay in that joint the latest and still pass the written
at the end of the week. Jones walks into ground school late the next
morning, disheveled, unshaven, and clearly hung over and staggers to
the front of the class, sits down, and starts to pull out his flight
manuals. The instructor has stopped his dissertation and watches with
the rest of us as Don fiddles with the latches on his brain bag and
slowly holds up, unfolding this red material with this confused look
on his face. He holds it up to the ceiling lights still trying to
figure out what these bright red panties were that we had planted in
his bag….The instructor was shocked. We rolled on the floor out loud
for at least five minutes.

Panties………………………… $5.95
Look on Don's face………....priceless

If I were Sydney, I would have seen your apology, wouldn't I?

PP: Ask her, she responded to it. "O.K. I'm sorry and I

(Unless you never

included the word
"apology" or "apologize" or "Sydney" or "sorry" in a post like that,
wouldn't
you?)

PP: This is why I have trouble believing that you were
involved in Apollo. If you can arrange to spin my hard drive and leaf
through my Apollo collection and collect credit card numbers, but you
can't type in sophisticated search algorithims? WTF? Further, you
don't want anything archived, because you figure that if you continue
slandering me and are found to be an accomplice to cyber-crimes these

that I'm not printing these out. Bad news for you. I have been.

Fine, give me the Google URL that shows you posting to RAP in the

In the meantime, here are the locations for the hardware I designed

26°06'03" N 03°39'10" E
8°59'29" S 15°30'52" E
20°9'55" N 30°45'57" E

From that you should be able to figure out what major system my
hardware was
included in. It was directional equipment for high gain com.

That's so odd, in the past you've said you followed the Zoom wars and
knew all
the players. Isn't that strange.

PP: Well until I picked up reactions from
the regulars, I was sure you were Sydney. I mean you said it
yourself: have you ever met her? How do you know she is Snowbird?
Is that two people? Is Sydney also StellaStar and Ladypilot? That's
what I think. But I've never actually met anyone in Usenet
Newsgroups. There's no ****ing pictures. And I was convinced until
recently that Bernie the Bunion was playing the role of Zoom, since he
always defended any jokes about that character. But maybe I'm just
not cut out for usenet, because a lot of the time, I can't figure out
what the #$@5 is going on! Now you have nothing to worry about from
me, if you knock off the attacks. But none of this would have
happened in the first place if you would post like a man, without all
this subterfuge. Or if you wouldn't behave like Pol Pot or Stalin
when somebody has an opinion or preference different than yours.

Actually, from what I've seen, Sydney has been a model of restraint.
Other
people in the newsgroup - including me - have been far more offended
by her
treatment than she has apparently been. Just to be clear, I haven't
corresponded with her, I've never met her, I only know her from her
infrequent,
but universally pleasant, posts.

If "Badwater" had written about my wife the way "Badwater" wrote about
Sydney,
my wife would have been at his door with a baseball bat. I'm don't
think I
would, or could, have stopped her. Of course, her father probably
would have
been there first, so there wouldn't have been much left to hit.

I neither desire or accept your help, Badwater. You have a track
record of
betrayal, narcissism, threats, self-pity and a complete lack of
manners. You
continually bring strife, anger, insults and threats, either under
your own name
or through a puppet, like Jordan. Accepting help from you is like
setting
yourself on fire because it's a little cold outside.

PP: Again laser-brain: You
are slandering the wrong poster. When this is pointed out to me by
the regulars, I apologize. This is what I'm talking about. Just how
confusing this ****ing usenet can be. Maybe I should just send
messages to my dog. I know who the hell he is, and he never changes
his callsign.

I'm a private pilot SEL with an out of date instrument rating, 640
hours, 225 in
gliders. I have no idea what Sydney's time or ratings are. My
impression is
that she's at least a private pilot.

PP: Yep it's what I figured! Another armchair Aviator
whose going to dictate exactly what Comm pilots and ATP's say.

No, Bill, your agenda is to "stir things up." If that means stabbing
your
friends in the back, driving away people with experience, insulting
them,
threatening them, threatening their families, it's just all part of
the act.
One poster a while back said you shoot your best friend's dog for a

Like I said, "Pac" - you're still leaving too many clues. Go back
over the last
three exchanges, and look at what you *didn't* say.

PP: I'm leaving a ****load of clues as to
who I am, but you don't have enough experience in aviation to pick up
on them. I suggest you ask Capt Doug or Rich S. the B727 Capt what
their opinion is. I've never met either one of those gentlemen but
because of a career of flying jets for 20 years I know they are
legitimate jet jocks. I would bet $1000.00 that both of these guys
fly big iron, but are sane enough not to pick fights with vicious
posters like you. Maybe I should try to go back to work instead of
trying to provide a different perspective to this group.

By the way Strikler, I had to post it at the top because I can't see
it on google. Is that O.K?

My thoughts exactly.

Too many quotations from too many threads over too long a period of
time.

Pac plyer you must have spent all afternoon with your good friend
GOOGLE.

Mr. Plyer I don't have a clue how many different people you are quoting
in your 267 line piece of verbal diarreha but it's lots.

For the record YOU may not be BWB but of all the regular posters to
this group YOU sure want to smooch his ass an awful lot.

Apparently, neither can the Youngest Pilot Ever Rated To Fly The 737. You
could, you know, run the search yourself and post a Google URL. And post it.
And quote it.

>Further, you

If you think that my posting that I believe you are a sock puppet for Badwater
Bill is something that would interest "the Authorities" then I have you wrong.
Even Bill isn't that delusional. That's well into Zoom's land of mental defect.

No, you said you had followed the Zoom wars since the mid 90's, long before

An interesting point of philosophy. Is my posting my opinion that you are
Bill's sock puppet, and listing my reasons for thinking so, an attack?

Or is my calling Bill a backstabbing, vicious, evil waste of a human being an
attack on you - if you're not Bill?

>But none of this would have
>happened in the first place if you would post like a man, without all
>this subterfuge. Or if you wouldn't behave like Pol Pot or Stalin

To all: does Godwin's law apply to Pol Pot and Stalin, or just to Hitler?

It wouldn't matter if I posted with a name or not. Or whether that name was
real or not. I'd still be calling you a Badwater sock puppet. And you'd still
be posting anonymously, claiming you aren't.

And, I don't remember killing millions of people for any reason, including a
difference of opinion. Did I miss it? Was I on the phone, and forgot that I
had 100,000 people in the oven? Let me do a google search - mass killing.
genocide. executions. No, I don't find anything. Do you have any
dates of these mass murders I could look up?

Another ATP that thinks private pilots are below him, and should say and do what
he wants. What a surprise. That's exactly what Bill thinks.

You know, without engineers, pilots would be working on ferry boats.

Oh, yes, how horribly vicious I am, pointing out that you and Bill are the same
person. How much better I would be if I used foul language and said posters
were like mass murderers, threatened them and belittled them for trying to do
good things for other people. Yes, I see, that would make this a much better
place to post.

Here's a list of the people I would rather see leave RAH than Badwater Plyer --

I, and several other rec aviation members, have seen and interacted
with Sydney/Snowbird and Stella Star at the same place at the same
time. Logically, it is therefore certain that they are not the same
person.

We have never seen either of them and Michael Jackson at the same
time, but regardless of their unproven claims that they have never met
Michael it has not been proven that they haven't.

Great Merciful Martians!

I find myself agreeing with Larry Smith! Twice in a

Lar, do you ever try sousing your pesky phillips fastners

Dear Dr. Snow,

I actually agree that I'm a terrible terrible person for pressing you
so hard. And that I should leave. You're halfway there to getting
rid of me for good. Not a bad trade huh? Just state you were hard on
BWB, and know-it-all: the Hitler Youth (that would be me, as Strickler
calls me.) hits the road. Or, if you want me to stay, I will turn my
guns on the real culprit here. Remember my agenda: to cause fireworks
and be entertained. Ya gotta give me just a little more olive branch
to work with here. This is not a spoof, you have my word as a

Here's a shot of me at 26 in Anchorage, and my wife at Oshgosh if it
works. Man you guys are smart if you know how to do this stuff...
Hmmmm...I'll rummage through old files to post my 737 licence

LOL!

Yeah I'm kinda of work-station challenged. Nice Webpage by the way.
I dig the pitot "heater" on your Cessna! Lol! So that's where
Pinckneyville is. It's making much more sense to me now. Looks like
a fun bunch. Thanks much for the links John,

Odd that you didn't know about it before, since you lurked here since the mid
90's and everything. And very odd that you didn't know about trying to shut it
down, and get JRJ's internet service pulled and his hangar lease canceled
because he hosted it. JRJ, if you don't "remember", is one of the people of
great experience that Badwater ran off the newsgroup.

But you knew that.

Last time I had lunch with JRJ, he didn't mention being 'run off'.

JRJ recently retired and may be quite tired of BWB's antics..
but, I do believe he is unaware of being.... 'run off'.

How about it, Snowbird, and Dave Hyde?
Got any JRJ news or sightings since you are in his neck of the woods?
Is there going to be a Pinckneyville 2004? (PJY)

If there is I want to go this year .I was looking at some of the photos of the
past years and it brought back fond memories of the first time the RAH-15 met.
I'm still proud to know 14 of them and only disappointed in 1.

I don't think he was "run off" but like a bunch of knowledgeable
folks didn't care for what the group had become for a while and
spent less time posting here and more on other groups. Maybe that
seems like "distinction without a difference" as I write it but
it's clear in my mind.

Since he's retired, he's been way too busy to hack around on
the net :). It's hard even to get ahold of him by email.

I saw him in late June. He was annualling a Yak. I talked to
him in September when he'd just returned from a couple months
touring Scandanavia and was about to head off on a round of
visits to kids and grandkids (that'd take a while). That's it.

I'll see what I can do to track him down, God willing and the
plugs don't short.

LOL! You and I do have something in common after all aye.. We're
both parinoid its a troll that's after us! :^D ROTFOL! Ya know, I'm
sure that you have read everything that's ever been printed on the
internet. I don't doubt that a bit. Are you doing moondust, or is
this group really that vicious? And how pray tell, could one
accomplish such stabs? You've made another slander, and I'm asking
you for more details. Is that unreasonable? Tell you what spy vs.
spy, tell me where and how to upload some pictures and I'll prove that
I'm just a newbie dumb**** that surfs but has only made 2 posts from
the P.I. years ago. You may not realize it, but there's tons of
interesting websites to read. I wonder if BWB has seen any of this
yet (if he's not one of you.) He's going to laugh his ass off because
he's just bits on a screen to me!
But I think all you guys in this thread are slightly
off your rockers. Usenet is not real. Maybe it used to be the domain
of serious Darpar military people and universities, but now, all us
newbies have a cheap computer. It's going to morph into general
society and there's nothing you can do about it. You are still
confusing my style with your mortal enemy. And I'll admit to hero
worship. I'm copying some of BWB's clever axioms because I think much
the same way he does. I wish I could write like he does. You said
yourself: 1)I'm not very entertaining.
But the more I engauge you aye, the more I'm sure you're digging a
foxhole cuz you're sure I'm Bills boy come to get you. LOOK OUT! IT'S

That's only because you didn't see what I said about you in the Bearhawk

is just because there are no auto conversion threads going on right now.

Hell, I've had the ribs done since 1999. Right now my two biggest
problems are repairing my wife's busted up subaru which is occupying my
workspace, and materials procurement. The former problem is nearly done,
I just have to drag myself away from the computer for long enough to
shoot the color coat. The latter is an unfortunate price of living up
here at the end of the Bearhawk supply lines.

As one of the first (and very few) participants in the first fly-in at
PJY, I would like to help set the record straight. As a close
associate of Bill Phillips, I can assure you that he never wanted to
keep JRJ from hosting the Pinckneville event. The Jean (NV) event,
which Bill and I coordinated, was never intended to replace any other
fly-in. It was intended as an event for those who could not make it
all the way from the west coast to PJY. Highflyer did attend, and he
flew out in a Cessna 175. He has lots of stories about that trip.

JRJ is a fine person and his wife Mary is a Saint. Pinckneyville
itself does have some shortcomings, and these were expressed on this
group by Bill and myself. The fly-in is what you make of it. It
(after four trips) just was not worth the 1200 mile trip.

I wish that JRJ would participate more in this group. He and Mary
paid me a personal visit at The Selma Aerodrome , and I would welcome
both of them here again.

Like me, I think that John stayed with the group as long as he felt
that it was worth the effort. You should notice (and may welcome) the
fact that I also now rarely post here.

Thanks Snowbird. Then why didn't BOb attack me all this time? He's
clearly the Godfather in this family. :-) While I'm sure he doesn't
like my stuff at all, or me, and thinks I'm a loudmouth, which I am, I

think Uncle BOb has consistantly been fair to everybody. And I admire

Correct this bunion if I'm wrong but didn't most of Bill's opinions
revolve around a sack of beer and a couple of bucks as well as the
well used "C" word from Bill's mouth and how it pertained to a certain
female pilot who is not only a regular to this group but also a regular
at the Pinckneyville fly in.

I second your recollections. In addition to your comments, I would add that
the ill will that developed, came from the manner in which Bill expressed
the shortcomings, and why they were going to prevent him from returning.
Other people (not Bill or John) interpreted, and blew up those opinions,

Since you've never been there ( I assume...) let me tell you
what's it's like. The airport is located about 5 miles from
the town. Pinckneyville is like most of rural America in
the flat parts of the Nation... lots of land, most stores
(and people, too) are pretty ancient but well preserved.

The airport is typical small America... A few hangars of
various descriptions. John Johnson's hangar is quite large
but well filled with aircraft parts. I'm sure, given the
time, one could build several aircraft from just the visible
items.

Food is provided by communal efforts. A couple of BBQ
grills are set up for lunch and dinner. Items cooked are
personal specialties of attendee's.

In other words, the "fly-in" is just a bunch of friends
meeting at a small airport in the middle of nowhere.

I can't see "rave revues" being an accurate description of
the event. Granted, we had a good time but no more than we
would have had at a beach picnic on the Fourth of July...

The airport and accommadations are lacking to a degree...
For what it offers, Pinckneyville does a great job but not
worth the time and money it takes for me to go there. I
enjoyed meeting and visiting the people I met there. If not
for Pinckneyville, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to
meet Tony. For that, Pinckneyville was worth all the effort
nad money it took to get there.

Actually Del I lurk in this group daily and enjoy reading the stories
about flying and building airplanes that some of the regulars like
yourself post from time to time.

To me that's what makes this group worthwhile.

Perhaps one of these days I will get to read about your Bearhawk taking
to the air for the first time, although I understand you have to fix
your wife's car first.

As for me Del I really don't post here very often and yet I found it
both strange and interesting that my name was mentioned numerous times
this past week in a continuing thread involving two regulars called
and someone called pacplyer along with some of the other
regulars who chose to add their comments to that particular thread.

Other than that I do add positive comments on people's accomplishments
and from time to time ask curious questions about various aspects of
flying.

But I wouldn't expect you or anyone else in this group to be
aware of that fact...... or to remember.

In fact there where a few times when I asked you a question about your
Bearhawk and pointed out that as an Ex-Yukoner that I could appreciate
your lifestyle in Alaska and you never gave me the courtesy of an
answer.

Well I suppose rave revue would have to be in the eyes of the
individual posters and interpretation of the readers.

But I can tell you John that I both admire and am envious at your
abilities to fly to events like that and enjoy the camaraderie of those
events.

As a lurker I enjoy reading about the adventures of those that
can and do attend fly-ins as well as those that both build and fly
their own airplanes.....

Those are the sort of postings that catch the attention of an armchair
pilot like myself.

Ah, well, the use of that particular Subaru powerplant for aviation
purposes just happens to be a sore subject in the Rawlins household. As
I explained to my wife after I was through threatening to liberate the
soob engine from its earthly shackles, the 2.2L soob just isn't capable
of producing the amount of power I will need. My Bearhawk is going to
spend most of its operating life on floats, and it will need all of the
power I can get to climb out of some of the lakes where I want to take
it. 200hp is the bare minimum I will accept. If the weight and prop
clearance issues were less daunting I would be installing an M-14P
russian radial (360hp).

Well put O'ring. We never did a thing to derail the PJY flyin. We
just got to the point where we felt that the expenditure of money to
go there was not worth the effort. The Jean fly in was something we
organized for the West Coast people to attend who didn't have the
skills or experience to attempt a long x-country flight to PJY in IMC
or marginal VFR conditions.

Many other things happened between JRJ and us that were unrelated.
Our personality conflicts had nothing to do with the hosting of any of
the RAH fly ins. This chicken **** muther ****er is spewing the
normal rah bull **** in an attempt to make himself look like a "great

Just the same old bitching assholes crying and complaining about

Nobody ran me off from RAH. It was the content that ran me off. It
was the lack of meaning of anything here from all the weekend pilots
and the 90% that have really never flown at all who post here
regularly and tout their great accomplishments, argue with those who
are doers and discredit fellow aviators. That's what has ruined RAH.

Of course, "JRJ is a fine person and his wife Mary is a Saint. Pinckneyville
itself does have some shortcomings, and these were expressed on this
group by Bill and myself."

You are a retromicturating piece of looser scum that is so pathetically at the
bottom of the food chain your only pleasure in life is complete telling
strangers you're better than they are. You're one shower away from the guy that
lives under the freeway bridge and cleans windshields with a rag soaked in his
own drool. While you still have some motor skills left make yourself a tinfoil
hat, you'll want it later.

The only things you've ever done for humanity is isolate yourself in Las Vegas,
(the City of Losers) and you haven't bred. For that we are thankful, at least
your scum filled part of the gene pool won't contaminate the rest. Other than
that you are a complete waste of food and oxygen, and there's a marilarial
bushman in Zambia that's more deserving of your share. Are you sure you're not
French? You remind me of the French, lounging in their self-importance, telling
all the world how important they are while everyone nods politely ignores them
and goes about their business.

Actually you do perform a valuable service, even though you don't mean to. The
fact that you live at all proves there is a God, and he has a very dark sense of
humor. Otherwise you would not be forced to continue such a miserable
existence, and be inflicted on the rest of us.

Now go away, PackBilly, we get the good cop/bad cop routine. Come up with a
cleaner sock puppet next time.

For those of us who are sick and tired of the city and its hordes of ignorant

Pac emailed me a link to a bunch of pictures that were not of Bill.
Included were shots of a pilot certificate and desert storm certificate
with the owner's name obscured. One of them was a picture of 747
loading operations and the background appeared to be a typical
southcentral Alaskan landscape, but there wasn't enough detail to
identify the airport.

ROTFOL! Good one Bob! Man I've just got the worst Deja Vue about all
this. I swear this thread is just like the one a year ago. Maybe it
is just like the movie "Groundhog Day." That means this time, there's
a chance to do something different. ... or else, conversely, it means
I've got old-timers disease early, and I'm starting to tell the same
stories over and over again to everybody... <gulp!>

They could belong to anyone, couldn't they Del?

My daughter's roommate's Dad, flies Airbus products. If I take a picture of
an Airbus type certificate, with the name blanked out, does that make me an
Airbus pilot? As far as that goes, if the name on the certificate is Joe
Blow, and I post under that name, am I Joe Blow?

I'm not convinced.

You must have had a long sleepless night Chuck. :-)
Anyway good work and you are accurate. This rates right
up there with the BASS and WHITE TORNADO threads.
I find myself coming back to RAH less and less, I know "don't

Chuck nailed it!. I'm going to read his condensed version from now
on! (saves time.)

Hangover from the RAH bar

Good. Out-****ing standing. We O.D.'ed on high-octane muzzle-loader
and shouted it out at the bar. Got that stuff out of our systems.

The RVR was gettin low in there for a while. The walls were coming up
and hitting me. I was so ****-faced at the beginning of this thread,
that I wasn't even sure who I was talking to half the night. Boy I
was tellin some tall tales.

Now it's time to pour ourselves out to airport, slap on that old
oxygen mask, and try to burn some of those negative vibes out of the
bloodstream.

I'm proud of you guys.

"Cheer Up" (I mean "Gear Up")
