Anyone know of schools or instructors around Ruston, LA? There is a
possibility that I will be moving there and wanted to see what is in the
area.

Thanks,

Grey

You might try contacting what I believe is now called "Louisiana State
University In Monroe", located 30 miles away in Monroe, LA. They offer
four-year aviation degrees, so you can probably find someone there who can
hook you up with whatever you're locking for.

There's lots of cropdusting in that area so there's probably someone
teaching aerobatics also...

Grey:

I suggest you contact Bubba Vidrine at . Bubba is a
great guy, deeply involved in the IAC, and is based in Opelousas, LA. He
would be the first person I would talk to about aerobatic instruction if I
were moving to Louisiana.

Slightly off-topic, but:

Speaking of Opelousas, do you know what ever became of Earl Cherry and "Gen.
Smoke." They used to be regular fixtures at the Lafayette and Lake Charles
shows back in the '80's. Just wondering. Anyone flying in the Sertoma show
this year?
