When I bought my Warrior, I also purchased the seller's Bose Aviation-X
headset. Last week, it developed a fault such that no sound was being heard
from the right-hand earpiece. I returned it to Bose for repair, including
credit card details for any charges incurred. To my delight, the unit was
returned within a week with the repair completed, with the cord, ear
cushions and the boom-mic replaced "due to wear", and with the headband
padding upgraded to the current specification. All of this was done for NO
CHARGE, and this on a unit that is more than four years old, and that I did
not even purchased directly. That is what I call Customer Service! Well done
Bose! :)

Well, I guess that's the kind of service you should expect from a company
that charges *double* (or more?) the going rate for ANR headphones...

(Although you did it right, buying a used pair. Wish I could find a pair!

They're going on eBay for about $875-$900. I can't see it . . . might as well
buy a brand new pair from any number of well-known shops for $950 and get full
warrantee, etc.

Agreed, Mike . . . but still, to buy one second hand to save $50-$75?? On a
$1000 item it makes no sense to me.

I wish I could too! We have two pairs. My wife sent hers in for a free
"upgrade" a year ago and they've been horrible ever since. We've sent
them in a couple of times since then (at our expense) and put up with
flippant responses from Bose techs, but they still suck compared to mine
(which have not been "upgraded").

My wife would love to have a good old used pair. Instead, she is using
her Sennheisers.
