Are there any Cessna Skymaster-type kit aircraft or plans for an aircraft of
similar type?
Or any other push-pull aircraft for homebuilders?

Voyager-round-the-world-unrefuled brother (although Burt designed the
Voyager). Great airplane, several are for sale now.

Can't expect too much from a guy that loves auto conversions,
yet bad mouths any car engine that LOOKS like an airplane engine.
i.e. Volkswagon and Corvair.
