Our club has a Delcom Air 960 panel mounted in a Schweizer 2-33. Currently
we are using a speaker-mike which jacks into the front of the radio. We
would like to wire the radio with a speaker and two microphones. Does anyone
know if this configuration is possible with this radio? If so, could you
provide a wiring diagram. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The only real trick to wiring as you outlined is the fact that these
mikes are electret. This means that an aircraft mike (carbon
equivalent) might not work. However the standard Radio Shack electret
will work. You have to figure out the PTT and install PTTs and mike
wiring to each stick to both turn on the ptt and connect the proper
mike.
I had made this very setup in my 2-22 and I used gaming headsets with
out the speaker although you could use a speaker in the glider.
I think that you will find the small mike jack has a ring tip and
sleeve arrangement like a standard mike jack. the ring would normally
be the mike ant the PTT would be the tip. The sleeve would be ground.
The speaker is the larger plug and just goes to the speaker leads.
You can buy a manual from Delcom for $25.00. At least a while ago they
sold an adapter for standard headsets. This may well mean that you can
use a standard aircraft mike setup as the radio provides the
exicitation for the electret mike.

Use the quoted diagram and wire the two mikes parallel at the jack.
The PTTs and individual miles should be separate circuits and come
together at the jack.
when you key the mike that mike is "hot" and the transmitter is turned
on.
I had something like this for my old 2-22 radio.
I couldn't remember if the PTT was separate and went to the tip or
like shown. I bet for the drawing above.
