GLIDER PILOT'S GROUND SCHOOL – Eastern PA
Philadelphia Glider Council presents its annual ground school course

This is not the typical “answers to the test questions” seminar, but
rather a detailed look at the information and concepts preparing one
to take an FAA written exam, prepare for a checkride or a flight
review, or knock the rust off over the winter. Participants receive a
logbook endorsement for 20 hours of ground preparation. Topics
include:
- Weather Services
- Critical Weather
- Flight Instruments
- Pre-Flight Procedures
- Sailplane Aerodynamics
- Effects of Density Altitude
- Flight Limitations
- Emergency Procedures
- Off-Field Landings
