I am looking for a club class type glider to fix up. Libelle,
Phoebus, ASW-19, etc. Preferably, a hanger queen that hasn't flown in
years. Is there one in your club? If you know of a glider that has
been collecting dust, perhaps one that realistically isn't going to
fly anytime soon, please contact me.

Surely there is someone out there, that would appreciate being
contacted with an offer on a ship of this criteria.

Thank you,

Scott,
Recommend you monitor Wings & Wheels (Used Parts) page which has a
Zugvogal for 3K that needs a little wing tip work.

AIG Salvage which has two 1-26's that look pretty beat up, but you
might be able to make one from both.............bet a $500 bid would
get each.

Barnstormers, then click on Gliders & Sailplanes which has good deals
from time to time.
Good hunting,
JJ

What are you looking for?

George Applebay has the 1985 World Champion LS-6a that's been rebuilt from a
crash. All major airframe work has been completed but it needs an
instrument panel, canopy, control stick, rudder pedals, and all the bits and
pieces to make them play well together.

You could probably get a pretty good deal and have it flying within the
year.

Great ship!

We have a friend that recently passed away. He owned a Libelle 201b
very well equipped and a Duster. Neither has been flown in a couple of
years and we were just now asked to sell them for his widow. I know it
could take a little time to thumb through the paperwork and sell them
legal so they are not listed yet.The Duster could be a very
inexpensive candidate for you. It may need some minor work but is
basically solid. PeterK
